An ancient conversation

Carried by hand for two thousand years.

Long before print, the Gita was copied onto palm leaf and paper, and painted by lamplight — so the teaching would not be lost.

Here, on the field of Kurukshetra, Krishna speaks to Arjuna from the chariot — a scene retold by artists for centuries.

karmaṇyevādhikāraste mā phaleṣu kadācanamā karmaphalaheturbhūrmā te saṅgo'stvakarmaṇi

Thy business is with the action only, never with its fruits; so let not the fruit of action be thy motive, nor be thou to inaction attached.
